I wrote this book because friends always ask for my recipes. After their countless cooking disasters, they insisted that I put together a collection of recipes with an easy to follow step-by-step guide.

I had lost my Mom in December 2001. I promised myself, I would never forget her. I wrote a poem to her, and also painted her portrait. What better way to honor Mom's memory, than to pick some of her favorite recipes and make them last forever. So I decided to write this cookbook, which is dedicated to her.
